About Theobridge

Technology With Human Empathy

AI compliance certification built on the conviction that human dignity belongs at the center of every technology decision.

The founder

Built by Nichelle Nicole, Founder and CEO, Christian technologist

Theobridge was founded by Nichelle Nicole, Founder and CEO, a University of Maryland alumna with a background in federal program management and national workforce initiatives. She founded Theobridge on one conviction: human dignity belongs at the center of AI.

That conviction did not produce a manifesto. It produced a standard.

Nichelle created the HART Standard — Human Aligned Responsible Technology — the first governance standard built specifically around how AI deployments affect workers, roles, and skills. She then gifted it to the Heart and Logic Foundation, a non-profit neutral body, so it would be governed in the public interest rather than by any commercial entity. Theobridge is the Foundation's first licensed certifier.

The HART Standard is governed by the Heart and Logic Foundation, a non-profit neutral body to which Theobridge gifted the standard so it would be held in the public interest rather than by any commercial entity. You can read the standard itself at thehartstandard.com.

Most compliance standards are built by software companies with a product to sell, or law firms managing liability. Theobridge was built by a founder whose motivation is human value. That shapes what we build and how we audit.

Why it matters who built this

The future belongs to certified trusted brands

Think of it like USDA certified beef or a LEED certified building. Those marks signal that something was produced according to a standard that matters — not just to regulators, but to the people it affects.

Theobridge gives AI-enabled businesses that same signal. Proof that the software you use has been evaluated not just for technical performance, but for its impact on people. As AI becomes embedded in every product and service, the companies that earn trust through verified human impact standards will be the ones consumers and regulators choose.

Originator of the HART Standard

We created the standard. We are its first licensed certifier. No other compliance firm can say that.

Human oversight on every audit

Automated scanning surfaces findings. A credentialed Theobridge compliance professional reviews and signs off on every one before it reaches you.

Values-driven from the start

Faith in human dignity is not a marketing angle. It is the reason this company exists and the reason the standard was designed the way it was.

A Christian technologist builds technology guided by values described in scripture: justice, mercy, creativity, joy, love, and peace. For Theobridge, that means compliance work is not just regulatory box-checking — it is a practice of accountability to the people technology affects.

Getting certified against the HART Standard — Human Aligned Responsible Technology — means your organization is recognized as a trusted brand in responsible AI. In a market where consumers, regulators, and employees are all asking harder questions about how AI is used, that recognition is one of the most valuable things a business can earn. Trust is not assumed anymore. It is certified.

Connected to the workforce

Through the Heart and Logic Foundation, we train Risk Context Officers from workforce development programs and place them into companies as paid consultants.

What the name means

Theobridge is a backronym: Technology With Human Empathy — BRIDGE. The bridge is between what technology can do and what it should do for the people it touches. That gap is what we exist to close.
